Terms of service
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between Raj Bagri, a sole proprietor in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, India, trading as ReceiptKite (“we”), and the firm that signs up for ReceiptKite (“you”). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your firm. Questions: support@receiptkite.com.
The service
ReceiptKite reads invoices and receipts with AI, checks them, and helps you review and send them to your accounting software. AI extraction is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing documents before you approve, export or pay them, including any document we flag (for example a changed supplier bank account).
Your data
You own the documents and data you upload. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as set out in our privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement. You confirm you have the right to upload your clients’ documents and to send them reminder emails.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep sign-in details secure, and remove team members who leave.
- Don’t upload unlawful content, try to access other firms’ data, or overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Upload links and inbound email addresses are private; rotate or revoke them if they leak.
Plans and billing
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled and include a monthly document allowance. Documents beyond the allowance wait until you upgrade or the next month starts. Documents that fail extraction are not counted. Refunds follow our refund policy. We will give 30 days’ notice of price changes.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax are added by Paddle at checkout where they apply.
Third-party services
When you connect Xero, QuickBooks or Zoho Books, your use of them is governed by their terms. We create bills only when you ask us to, or for suppliers you have set to publish automatically. In Xero they arrive as drafts for you to approve; QuickBooks and Zoho Books record them as open bills.
Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features over time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including payments made on the basis of extracted data.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from Billing. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. After cancellation you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Panna, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
